BIP2026/27
The next Research in Practice Blended Intensive Programme (BIP), organised by the PANORAIMA consortium and supported by Erasmus+, will be hosted by our university, the University of Technology and Economics (BME) during this academic year.
Students from six European universities participate in this programme, which prepares them for the human-centred and responsible use of artificial intelligence. The one-week in-person component will take place in Budapest at BME from 1 to 5 February 2027. It will be preceded by a virtual (online) preparatory phase running from 19 November 2026 to 21 January 2027. Successful completion of the BIP is worth 3 ECTS credits, which can be recognized as a free elective course.
BME students may apply to participate in the BIP either as participants paying a meal contribution fee (maximum 10 participants) or as organizers exempt from the contribution fee (maximum 5 organizers). Participants will receive lunch on 5 occasions, coffee, tea, soft drinks, and pastries on 10 occasions, and can attend the joint working dinner (dîner pensant) on Monday evening. The contribution fee for paying participant is €12/day, total €60 for five days.
